Pre-employment Screening Requirements:
The Tohono O’odham Ki: Ki Association conducts pre-employment screening for all positions, which may include a criminal background check, verification of credentials, licenses, certifications, and work history. In addition, a check of names and identification documents is conducted on all new employees to ensure they are legally authorized to work in the United States. All employees are required to successfully pass a drug screening test prior to employment; random drug screening tests may be administered post-employment
Summary:
Schedules appointments, gives information to callers, takes messages and dictation, receives and processes rents, and otherwise relieves officials of clerical work and minor administrative and business detail by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Serves as back-up to the Receptionist position.
· Responsible for opening and closing the Black Mountain Community Building in the San Xavier District.
· Reads and routes incoming mail. locates and attaches appropriate file to correspondence to be answered by employer.
· Creates correspondence, memos, minutes, agendas or reports from drafts, recordings, or verbal instructions.
· Organizes and maintains file system, and files correspondence and other records.
· Answers and screens administrations telephone calls, and arranges conference calls.
· Coordinates administrations schedule and makes appointments.
· Greets scheduled visitors and conducts to appropriate area for person.
· Arranges and coordinates conference room and reservations.
· Conducts research, and compiles and types statistical reports.
· Maintains building use and administrative calendars, appointments.
· Prepares outgoing mail and correspondence, including e-mail and faxes.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Word Processing software and Spreadsheet software.
Certificates and Licenses:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Valid Arizona Driver’s License
