Full Job Description:

TOMAG Contracting Services specializes in providing building and construction trades for commercial projects in the lower mainland. We are a hard-working, and focused team looking to add a carpenter to our existing crew of professional tradesmen.

Key responsibilities:

· Assisting lead carpenter in installing wooden structures such as partitions, stud work, and formwork.

· Working with the lead carpenter to perform repairs on existing damaged framework structures.

· Perform all aspects of cleaning, keeping job site clean and organized, ie: sweeping, debris removal, hauling, tool maintenance (neat and clean)

• Be able to anticipate the needs of the lead carpenter as the work progresses

· Punctual attendance and participation with all daily/weekly team projects and health safety meetings.

Qualifications and Abilities:

· Working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods

· Experience using electrical and hand tools

· Physically fit and able to perform tasks such as lifting, and climbing.

· Fall Protection ticket (will train if required)

· WHIMIS (will train if required)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $27.00-$37.00 per hour
