Top Ten Produce is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing sales transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working as a cashier, possess strong communication skills, and have a friendly and approachable demeanor!

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they approach the checkout counter and process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including keeping the conveyor belt clear of debris and restocking bags.
• Assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have regarding products or prices.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues in a polite and professional manner.
• Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a high level of customer service.
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding cash handling, refunds, and exchanges.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and store layout.

Requirements :

• High school diploma prefered
• Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling.
• Knowledge of basic math skills and ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately, not really needed but a nice to have.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, also a nice to have.
