Torquing/Crimping Special Process Expert Full Time

Alstom is looking for Torquing/Crimping special process expert to support the site torquing and crimping experts in developing the special processes.

Description

Main responsibilities:

• Supporting site torquing and crimping experts in developing the special processes.
• Creating/validating work and repair instructions
• Training/coaching torquing and crimping operators
• Performing workstation audits, following up on actions
• Participating in design reviews and process validation cycle
• Capitalising return of experience

Profile

You will have

Skills:

• Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical engineering or working towards that.
• 2+ years of experience as a Mechanical or Electrical Engineer preferred but less would be considered if key skills are met.
• Knowledge of torquing or crimping processes
• Familiarity with torquing and crimping tools
• Ability to interpret international standards and work with complex drawings
• Basic IT skills (MS Outlook/Power Point/Excel/Word)

• Ability to implement change and lead initiative
• Good teaching skills (able to provide training to a group of trainees)
• Meticulous nature and attention to details
• Organisation skills and the ability to set priorities
