Established Grande Prairie Company requires an experienced and independent admin professional who thrives in a fast paced environment. Must be receptive to new challenges with a high level of attention to detail. The office is located outside of GP and candidate must be comfortable commuting to work.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Accounts Payable for multiple companies
Accounts Receivable for multiple companies
Bank Reconciliations
General Ledger Entries
Office Organization including filing
Assisting with bi-weekly payroll
Performing various bookkeeping duties as required
Keep records and reports up to date including managing data in spreadsheets and reports
Comply with financial controls, standards and procedures
Reconciling monthly activity
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Meticulous with great attention to detail and problem solving skills required
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and function well under stress
Ability to prioritize tasks and workload
Must work well alone and as a team
Computer proficiency in Excel, Word & QuickBooks Desktop Accounting Software
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
EDUCATION
Accounting Certificate, Diploma, Degree or Designation are considered an asset
AP/AR experience required – only those with experience will be considered
Wages will be determined by experience and qualifications.
