JOB TITLE: CUSTOMER SALES SUPPORT SPECIALIST-Remote, but living in CT

SHORT DESCRIPTION:
ToyHouse LLC distributes toys (LEGO brand) to the small Specialty and Independent retailers throughout the US marketplace. The position is a Customer Sales Support Specialist position who has the responsibility for managing customer relationships daily. This position is the key link in communication with our customers over the telephone in taking customer sales orders and assisting them in any questions and or concerns. The position works in a small team environment, working closely with other team members and external partners to ensure that every order is processed and delivered on time to the customers. The position is part-time, requiring 20 hours a week (4 hrs. per day). The exact daily hours of the position are flexible and can be agreed upon with the ideal hours are 10am-2pm EST. This position has the flexibility to work from their home office. The position requires the individual to have experience in customer service and support with a business acumen, basic Microsoft Office skills and basic accounting skills, however Microsoft Excel is a must have with ability to prove the skillset. Having experience in the toy industry is a plus. The position also requires attention to details, taking the initiative to make decisions, along with, strong basic math skills, and the ability to anticipate problems before they happen. It is essential for the candidate to work well within a small team of people who are committed to working with a company performing in a high growth rate.

Position DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver first class customer service to customers. Respond to customer needs in a timely and accurate manner. Build positive relationships with customers and co-workers and be supportive of a team atmosphere.
Enter and process incoming orders which may come in via EDI, web portal based, Google e-mail. Also set up and document the order process for new customers
Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, and or customer issues.
Collaborate with logistics partner and manufacturer along with business systems to manage customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
Maintain a positive relationship with customers and be able to respond to their needs in an accurate and timely fashion.
Must be able to accurately identify inventory discrepancies and notify the appropriate manager immediately.
Perform any special projects or other assignments as needed.
Answer incoming calls and emails and respond to the customer’s questions and concerns regarding the order process
Research customer inquiries and enter notes in the system to facilitate assisting the customer
Complete follow up outbound calls as needed to keep customers informed
Demonstrate professionalism on all calls and emails, creating a positive impress to build customer relationship
Maintain and effectively articulate a thorough knowledge and skill base for procedures, and computerized information systems
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
Proficient Microsoft Excel Skillset
Excellent basic math, organization, and time management skills
Customer service experience with superior phone skills
Ability to work in a fast paced, performance-based environment
Time Management — Managing one’s own time and work from home office
Complex Problem Solving — Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions.
Coordination — Adjusting actions in relation to changing environment & demands.
IT systems & software — CRM, Microsoft package software, specifically Excel skills
Electronic mail software — Google & Microsoft package software
Basic knowledge of distributor, retail, and e-commerce (drop ship) sales models
Work hours & Compensation
Part-time: 20 hours per week
Time of day: 10am-2pm
Compensation: $15.00 – +$18.00 based on experience
