Toyota Research Institute Hiring for Logistics Coordinator at Los Altos, CA Full Time

The Logistics Coordinator is highly organized, detail-oriented, and looks for ways to improve current processes. You also have a H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent and 2+ years experience working in an office environment, including providing support for logistics, shipping/receiving, or similar.

As Logistics Coordinator, you will:
Shipping & Receiving

• Manage all shipments and deliveries and track packages in the required software.
• Partner with internal employees and contractors to ensure timely delivery and receipt of critical shipments.
• Manage all international import/export control work as determined by policies and procedures.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

Workplace Services Coordination

• Receive and assist with daily lunch delivery services.
• Manage recycling programs (i.e. cardboard, batteries, wood/pallets, plastic, shredding services, etc.).
• Be a parking liaison between TRI and other companies.
• Respond to messages and tickets regarding shipping and receiving.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Assist with event planning, including room reservations.
• Act as an Emergency Response Team member to assist in emergency situations and building evacuations.

Commitment: This is a full-time contract position staffed via HireArt and based on-site in Los Altos, CA. This role is open to candidates local to the Los Altos area.
