RESPONSIBILITIES Trace is seeking Software Engineers of various experience levels to perform the following

• Trace Systems Software Engineers analyze, design, and develop computer software required to support hardware or technical service products.
• Review system architecture and select and implement appropriate development and support tools to ensure product performance, as well as test and debug related software.
• Providing our customers with the expertise to leverage their existing software and create new capabilities.
• Resolve software problem reports.
• Utilize software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Work individually or as part of a team.

Required Capabilities / Minimum Quals

LEVEL 1

• Clearance TS/SCI with FS
• BS with 2+ years’ experience OR MS with 0+ years’ experience
• Degree must be in either (1) professional engineering, (2) physics or astronomy or (3) a relevant professional technical field (e.g., chemistry, architecture, computer science, mathematics, hydrology, geology).
• Relevant experience must be in designing engineering systems over their lifecycle (e.g. concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal). Experience in optimization and modeling is preferred.

Desired Capabilities

• Knowledge and understanding of cyber data sets, frameworks, and tools.
• Knowledge of Agile SDLC, Jira, Confluence
• Requirements gathering, ability to work directly with analysts to determine exact requirement needs and help identify best solution.
