Who are we?

Trackit Energy is a Software as a Service platform founded and developed in New Plymouth. It is now deployed in 7 countries and continues to grow globally. We are looking for a Software Developer with problem-solving skills to support the growth of the company.
 
This role will be working with our close-knit design and development team to deliver high-quality results to our clients. You’ll have the opportunity to get hands-on with some interesting and complex pieces of work including our enterprise scale logistics product, all while being part of a smaller squad that makes their own decisions about how to work through prioritisation – so your voice will be heard and your opinions valued.
 
Your Core skills include familiarity and experience in:

• C#
• .NET Core MVC and Blazor
• MS SQL Server
• Microsoft Azure Cloud platform 

What you’ll need to bring to the role:

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience as a software developer
• Undergraduate Degree in Information Systems or Computer Science
• Most importantly, a passion for coding and a can-do attitude!

 You will have an advantage if you also have experience in HTML, CSS and Javascript or if you have knowledge of software design and architecture. We will also favour candidates who are comfortable with unit, integration and automated testing as well as those who possess a strong knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment. 

We are looking for someone who can understand client requirements and how they translate into application features as well as write high quality code to program complete applications. You should be able to ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
 
Your strong sense of initiative, command of the English language, and an attitude towards quality output and presentation is critical in this position. You thrive on being creative and innovative in your programming. You will have great time management skills and be able to effectively manage workloads and deadlines. We work closely together in the office so you will need to enjoy working within a team environment and have a good sense of humour.
