We design and build our own products, with a large innovative technical team, well respected equipment trusted by customers throughout the country, and an exciting roadmap ahead. We have six dedicated sales managers throughout New Zealand. We now have a rare opportunity for an experienced National Sales Manager to join us, to lead ground sales in New Zealand, taking our team to the next level, expanding into new market segments and growing our already substantial customer base.
About the position
The role leads our New Zealand Sales, responsible for the sales performance for all TracMap products in the country. We are looking for someone who has an in depth knowledge of the  agriculture sector, and has proven ability to inspire and bring out the best in a sales team, delivering above target results.
This is a key role for us, working closely with the rest of the management team and reporting directly to the CEO. The six New Zealand ground sales managers all report to this position. It is based in our head office in Mosgiel, Dunedin – close to the city centre but without the parking hassles and in a rural setting. While we do offer some flexibility, it is important to us that this role is based in the head office, so we’re only considering candidates who are either in Dunedin or will relocate.

What you’ll do
Support Sales Managers to develop the team’s sales culture, skills, development plans, and provide specific KPIs to track performance.
Consult and provide sales coaching to all salespeople across TracMap, by fostering a transparent, inclusive and achievement orientated team culture.
Demonstrate a can-do attitude and instil tenacity and resilience in your team.
Monitor KPI’s and proactively identify the actions that your team can take each month to improve and grow.
Represent TracMap at conferences and tradeshows nationwide and seek opportunities to address groups about the benefits of TracMap products
Be innovative and constantly look for improvements and new opportunities for sales growth.

About you
At least 2 years’ experience in sales leadership position.
Strong knowledge of the agriculture sector is essential.
You will have excellent communication with a high level of skill in relationship building.
The ability to have conversations that will have a positive impact and drive outstanding performance.
A tactical thinker who aligns with our direction and will take our team on the journey to get there.
Be an exceptional sales and performance leader, with the ability to see and grow the potential in people and business.
Known for an unstoppable and energetic personality.
