About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to join our Team and lead delivery of passenger transport services on a mine site in Pilbara.

This is a permanent FIFO full time role with 2:2 roster.

Key responsibilities include:

• People management – overseeing a team of operators, promoting and driving teamwork and professionalism, communicating respectfully with staff, ensuring staff are adequately trained and inducted, ensuring rosters are in place and managed including leave management, undertaking regular supervision and performance reviews and management required.

• Stakeholder management – developing and maintaining excellent working relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, on site and in head office

• Operations – prepare and manage run schedules, assign daily responsibilities, conduct daily meetings, ensure buses are in good operating order, report and manage any issues or defects promptly.

• Safety and Health – following Company and Client safety, quality and environmental policies, procedures and plans, promoting a positive safety culture, ensuring operators are adhering to safety protocols, delivering toolbox sessions, undertaking field interactions, role modelling the highest standards of safety.

About you

Successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in this or similar role
• Experience in successfully supervising/leading teams
• Previous experience on a mine site
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with all people in a professional, respectful, inclusive and honest manner.
• Commitment to quality of service, and safety of passengers
• Excellent organisational skills
• Management/leadership qualification and/or training is desirable
• Australian Drivers Licence HR/MR
• Passengers Transport Drivers (PTD) Authorisation
• Qualification to operate a Coach Bus or equivalent is desirable
• Sound computer skills and experience in operating Microsoft 365 suite and other relevant business systems (e.g safety).
• Senior First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain it
