Job Title: Key Account Manager

Role Purpose:
The Key Account Manager will develop and maintain relationships at a strategic level and identify key business development and growth opportunities for existing partners using the suite of available Travelex products. They will act as the account owner in key relationships and the main point of contact for commercial conversations with new partners, and work (where applicable) with current business development managers in Geo to nurture and grow the business profitably. They will also be responsible for managing the off-airport ATM estate throughout the upcoming ATM hardware replacement project, ensuring all commercial contracts are up to date and commercially viable for the future
Key accountabilities:
Account manager for our DBE Partners in our outsourced US ATM estate, working with them to maximise revenue opportunities in both existing and new Airport estates and act as the first point of contact for all operational related queries.
Manage and direct our outsourced ‘site-finder’ strategy in applicable ATM & ‘self-serve’ markets
Manage existing off-airport ATM accounts, ensuring all contractual requirements are in place prior to the commencement of the full estate ATM hardware replacement project
Identify and deliver further opportunities for the ATM ‘outsourced’ model using our own host infrastructure and capability
Deliver revenue and EBITDA targets
Build and leverage quality internal relationships across key business functions
Regular reporting to key stakeholders on progress and deliverables against key targets
Role-specific experience and skills:
Strong negotiating and renegotiating skills
Strong written communication skills
Strong commercial acumen and ability to apply solid commercial judgment to deliver ‘win / win’ scenarios for both Travelex & Partners
Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
Strong track record in managing the sales cycle from all aspects – whether this is sitting in front of the customer pitching, producing the content to go to the customer, or managing the business case process
Strong track record in building and maintaining relationships
Tenacity, drive, the ability to operate and make key decisions effectively in a demanding environment, balancing risk with results
Strong track record in challenging dominant assumptions and introducing new concepts into both airports and off-airport networks Why Travelex?
