What We’re Looking For

Travelpro is seeking a Photo Retoucher / Photographer to join our Marketing team! This position is responsible for assisting the Studio Manager/Photographer with product shoots and editing. Candidates must be creative and have a keen sense of design and composition while complying with the brand identity. Also, it will require the upkeep and logistical management of products coming in and out of the studio. Strong retouching and image composite skills required.

What You’ll Do

Photography and Digital Retouching

• Retouching ecommerce photographs, environmental and lifestyle photographs/ composites
• Photographing product on seamless for ecommerce
• Act as set assistant/digital tech to Studio Manager & Videographer as needed
• Cropping and sizing images for digital and print projects

What You’ll Need

• Associate’s degree in photography, digital imaging, or related field
• 3-4 years’ experience in photography/retouching or image specialist
• Microsoft Office proficient with intermediate knowledge of Excel.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience retouching high-end photography – both lifestyle and product photography
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with a professional studio as a photography assistant/digital tech
• Proven digital retouching skills with strong color correction/ matching images to physical sample experience
• Compositing/retouching before & after samples required
• Knows how to work with sense of urgency while efficiently handling multiple projects at once
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Proficient with pro level DSLR/ mirrorless cameras and studio lighting
• Advanced knowledge in Photoshop, Bridge and Lightroom
• Minimum 3 years’ experience retouching high-end photography – both lifestyle and product photography
• Minimum 3 years’ experience with a professional studio as a photography assistant/digital tech
• Proven skills in retouching environmental Images, silhouetting ecommerce images, and editorial photography as needed, including, but not limited to, compositing, clipping, masking, color correcting, object removal and alteration
• Collaborate with the marketing and design teams to ensure high-quality retouched imagery for web and print
• Ability to handle multiple tasks as well as the ability to communicate in a clear and precise manner
• Personal qualities of integrity, credibility and commitment
• Team player, assertive, and can deal with ambiguity
