Tribe (New Zealand) Limited Looking for Events & Sponsorship Exec – 4 to 6 month FT contract at Auckland CBD, Auckland Full Time

About the Role:

• Reporting into the Entertainment and Events Manager this 4–6-month fixed term contract sits within the marketing team, and has arisen due to support needed for facilitating upcoming key events and sponsorship activity
• This role is tasked to firstly, help manage and deliver key events for this well-known organisation (e.g., Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Chinese New Year, Summer programmes). Secondly,  to work in conjunction with key sponsors on their exciting  large-scale  events also.  
• So, you will be responsible for assisting with the planning and delivery of the sponsorship strategy and internal and external events and entertainment in conjunction with the Sponsorship Manager, Events and Entertainment Manager and Marketing Manager Attractions.
• Plus working alongside the Entertainment marketing team and wider business to achieve brand awareness, revenue, visitation/covers and yield objectives.
• This is a fast paced, collaborative role, requiring excellent relationship management and project management skills, working with internal teams as well as key sponsors and agencies to altogether create and implement successful events.

About You:

• We are looking for a junior to  intermediate level events and sponsorship  professional who is available immediately for a short-term contract (potential for opportunities for the right person)
• You will have proven experience in the planning, delivery and execution of events.
• You will have experience working with internal stakeholders and external partners /sponsors/agencies/contractors to deliver truly amazing large-scale events.
• You will thrive in a fast paced, collaborative environment, with excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail , project planning and delivering events
• You will love the buzz of an event
