Tribe and Te Whatu Ora are working together to recruit multiple roles within the Procurement, Supply Chain, and Health Technology Management team, including four Senior Procurement Specialists.
About The Role
These four Senior Procurement Specialist roles can be based in multiple locations across Aotearoa New Zealand, including Auckland, Waikato, Wellington, and Christchurch.
These roles will see you lead a range of procurement functions including the development and execution of procurement strategies for the required categories and sub-categories.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing procurement sourcing activities on a national, regional, and local scale. This includes managing exemption processes, developing procurement plans, conducting RFx processes, and engaging in collaborative procurement practices that prioritise sustainability, equity, innovation, and risk management for broader outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced procurement specialist with extensive experience in the management of complex multi-stakeholder portfolios. You are comfortable in a changing environment where you’ll deal with a range of stakeholders. You will have a good number of years of procurement experience, have proven negotiation and contract management experience, along with an in-depth understanding of the end-to-end procurement process.
It would be great if you had a sound knowledge of Government rules and processes, procurement framework, principles, processes, regulations and legislation.
