The ENT, Hearing and Balance Clinic is now hiring for a patient-oriented and outgoing Medical Assistant for our clinicslocated near the Boise Regional Medical Center campus and in Nampa near the Nampa Medical Center campus!
$1500 Sign On Bonus offered with this position!
About this Position
In this position, you will support a new provider to the clinic. You will perform typical MA duties such as rooming patients, taking vitals, patient intake, chart prep, and setting up for minor procedures. In addition, you will also occasionally perform injections patient follow up, assist with referrals, and conduct prior authorizations.
An ideal candidate will enjoy learning, like a fast paced, fun and collaborative environment, be extremely organized – a task master, and likes working in a team and autonomously.
Work Schedule: The position will work approximately 40 hours per week, Mondays – Thursdays, 8:00am – 5:00pm, and Fridays, 8:00am – 2:00pm.
The Centralized Hiring Process
We are conducting a centralized recruitment and hiring process for all full-time MA positions. You will go through an initial phone screen with the Recruiter and then will interview with a hiring team from our Medical Group Nursing Leadership Team.

The Orientation and Training Process
As you are transitioning into Saint Alphonsus Medical Group, our Clinical Support Team will provide an orientation program that will be critical to your success whether you are a new or experienced MA joining our team. Our goal is to provide you a path to a successful integration into a clinic setting or remaining part of our support team as a float. Your Choice!
Our Orientation offers a comprehensive, individualized orientation program that focuses on your needs and provides you with the knowledge and confidence to apply and work in either a primary care clinic or a specialty clinic. Once orientation is completed, you decide if you want to be a part of our clinical support team (a float pay differential would be added) or if you want to search for a “home” clinic.

Saint Alphonsus ENT, Hearing & Balance offers a wide range of services to patients of all ages. From sore throats and allergies to sinus problems and ear infections, we are here to care for you or your loved one. We have a comprehensive team of medical providers (doctors, audiologists, therapists, etc). Numerous ear, hearing, or balance conditions require diagnosis and treatment using multiple kinds of specialized equipment. Our specialists recognize the need for patients to receive timely diagnosis, testing, and treatment.

Education Requirement:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program, or enrolled in an Associate Degree Medical Assistant Program and are eligible to take an approved credentialing exam (listed below), or have obtained credentialing from the Trinity approved list below plus one year of experience prior to hire.
Certification Requirements:
MA certification from one of the following required within 90 days of hire date:
American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
American Medical Technologists (RMA)
National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.
General Requirements:
Previous clinical experience preferred.
Customer service oriented attitude/behavior.
