Reporting to the Team Lead the Software Engineer is critical in enabling technology to positively change the lives of people, to give them back time, control and choice. You will do this by assuming responsibility for the overall development, enhancements and maintenance of online modules. You will be responsible for working with a cross-functional team to ensure high-quality outcomes through roadmap execution, product development and software engineering initiatives that emphasise our product-led growth strategy and great user experience.

In addition, the position will contribute to the idea generation, workshop running and overall delivery of quality code or practice standards across development and testing. Some further responsibilities are below;

• Develop a deep understanding of the business and operations to support identify pain points and lead initiatives and improvements to the way services are delivered.
• Mentor the team to help uplift capability. (Code Reviews and Lunch and learns)
• Actively participate in all Agile processes e.g. Retrospectives, sizing, sprint planning
• Deliver high quality, well tested software within C#, React or Angular with API backend.
• Champion a collaborative approach.
• Cloud Based SAS App development.
