Peak Health seeks a RN in the Raliegh-Durham and Chapel Hill areas of North Carolina. This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, M-F 8:00am-5:00pm. Travel time is local in these areas and is included in your schedule. Travel outside the area is sometimes required. While not currently required also looking for someone to do occasional overnight travel.
Successful candidate will be a licensed RN with a multi-state license in the state of North Carolina.
Registered Nurse travels to assigned client’s employment site to provide health evaluations for participants. May conduct evaluation via teleconference when no site is available.
Peak Health provides wellness programs for various organizations (clients). Nurses will help individuals to identify their risk factors, assist with establishing individual goals and motivate/coach participants to change lifestyle behaviors in order to change the risk factors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Review the individually completed Health History Questionnaire.
Review and interpret individual blood lab test results.
Obtain individual weight, blood pressure, pulse, body fat or body mass, and fitness level.
Establish individual goals by making recommendations for improving the individual’s health risk.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

Valid Registered Nursing License for state(s) in which they meet with program participants
Professional Liability Insurance certificate
Valid CPR certification
Valid Driver’s License
Excellent motivational and coaching skills
Working vehicle and current personal auto insurance
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS
Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 65 pounds to bring testing equipment and laptop to work site
Frequent bending required
Travel to various client sites required, commute may be up to 3 or 4 hour drive
Some overnight travel may be required
