Interested in being a thought leader in the Application Portfolio Management (APM) space within Enterprise Architecture and Data Governance? We are looking for a driven person who understands how to collect, manage, and govern the data that supports enterprise application inventory management, portfolio optimization, and using data and data analytics to help optimize a large application portfolio and wants to push the state of the art.
You will be in a lead role in the development, management, and maintenance of application portfolio data along with other core enterprise architecture data in support of Truist’s governance and regulatory requirements. Act in a leadership and key liaison role between the lines of business and the technology delivery teams in support of new procedures and data collection and aggregation activities. Drive requirements gathering across the stakeholder community to create optimal data management and data governance processes in support of identified data, procedures, and reports. Be able to provide program and project support as well as individual contributor functions as needed. Help train and coach other teammates on application portfolio data management, processes, scorecards, KPIs/KRIs, and other socialization activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Be a trusted advisor for product owners, risk, governance, and architects in the application data governance domain
Collaborate with peer groups across Technology, Risk, Architecture, and the LOBs to identify, document and articulate business requirements and drive technology solutions and processes.
Support current state analysis of existing business systems, applications, and processes with other subject matter experts
Understand the long-term business objectives and suggest strategies to meet those objectives and introduce technical and automation innovations, as needed.
Become deeply immersed and knowledgeable about core business functions, processes and workflows associated with assigned business areas and projects.
Build tactical and strategic solutions that support continuous improvement in the application and architecture governance domains
QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or ten years of information technology experience with significant experience in software development
Eight years of experience as a business analyst or related role/experience, with experience in one or more of the following areas: Project Management, Business Process Management, Relationship Management, Business Operations, Quality Management
Ability to work independently and autonomously, as needed to drive desired outcomes
Experience with traditional Waterfall SDLC and/or Agile/Lean methodologies
Extensive experience planning, facilitating, eliciting, documenting and managing business, functional and technical requirements
Ability to interact with management, business staff, and Technology professionals in order to gather, compile and exchange information on work requests/project requirements
Strong meeting facilitation, presentation, verbal and written skills and ability to resolve conflicts
Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, activities and tasks under time constraints
Ability to effectively interface with staff at all levels
Exceptional communication, teamwork and influencing skills that foster a collaborative and continuous-improvement environment
Excellent facilitation and organizational skills
Strong critical and analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products
Understand core systems, applications and technical platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
Solid understanding of IT investment planning, third party vendor support models, technology lifecycle management
Experienced with at least one of the APM vendors and their product lines: ServiceNow, LeanIX, Software AG, etc.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Development, Application Portfolio Management (APM)
Experience developing ServiceNow dashboards and reports preferred
Experience using ServiceNow ITBM Application Portfolio Management (APM) and ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) preferred
Experience building data models, creating SQL queries
Experience building aggregate reports, scorecards, and other data visualizations
Building sophisticated excel spreadsheets, reports in Tableau or PowerBI
Have familiarity with IT architecture methodologies such as TOGAF and technology reference models (TRM)
Ability to lead business process modeling sessions
Project Management Institute (PMI) or International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) certification or Lean Six Sigma experience/certification
Experience using SQL Server, Snowflake, or other database platform
Experience using ARIS to document current state processes
