The role:

The Sof role is responsible for developing application and integration-based applications based on our Clients business requirements.

As a Software Engineer you are a self-starting, self-directing Javascript, React and Node (AWS/Cloud exp an advantage) developer who is creative and passionate about developing various applications including web apps, backend systems integrations and AI functions such as conversational bots and analytics tools.

Required Skills

To be successful in the role, you will need a strong understanding of the key technologies that VoiceFoundry work with such as Typescript, React, Node and the AWS serverless tech stack. Those are the primary tech skills. This includes Amazon Connect and the AWS ecosystem that forms our contact centre solutions, but also complementary workforce optimisation applications and integration to CRM and case management systems.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Develop the next generation contact centre solutions in AWS
• Build scalable, reliable, cost-effective and high-quality solutions
• Assist in the planning and specification authoring for feature development
• Provide technical guidance to the team and coordinate technical activities
• Develop software precisely meeting specifications
• Monitor performance and advising any necessary infrastructure changes
• Develop technical specifications and drive system and database architecture and software development within the team of developers through delivery and successful deployment to production.
• Drive alignment between this team and all downstream users of the data output generated by this platform
• Engage other areas and stakeholders within VoiceFoundry
• Implement best practices that can be used by the developers.
• Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
• Document all development activities after the development phase
• Create knowledge base articles by uploading all development documents to a central knowledge base at the end of each project.
