Storeperson – Christchurch

T&G Global has a vital role to play in providing nutritious fruit and vegetables to Kiwis as an essential service during this critical time.

We are doing everything to ensure we continue to operate safely and keep each other, our families and communities safe as we run this essential service.

About the position:

We are looking for a full time Storeperson to join our team based in Sockburn, Christchurch.

The main focus of your role will be to pick to order, process and dispatch fresh produce. You will be working in a fast-paced environment as part of a supportive team. There will be exciting opportunities for you to learn, develop and upgrade your skills.

Your hours of work will be Tuesday to Saturday 5:00am – 1:30pm but you will need to be flexible and able to do extra hours and days as required.

What are we looking for?

• Previous experience in a Stores/Warehouse environment (preferred)
• Fork-lift driving experience with valid licences & an OSH certificate (preferred, not essential)
• Basic computer skills
• Good attention to detail
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills

If you don’t have all of the above skills or experience but have a great attitude and you want to learn and develop new skills, we want to speak to you.

You will need a reasonable level of fitness, as you will be on your feet for most of your shift and lifting up to 20kg.
