This position may include additional functions related to the scope of services as needed and/or assigned by supervisor. iProvide a positive role model for youth.Reinforce pro-social behavior of youth and enforce facility rules and requirements of youth.Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.Complete incident, accident and behavioral reports in accordance with TOYA policy.Assist in the provision of Health Education to housed youth;Administer prescribed medications or start intravenous fluids, noting times and amounts on patients’ charts.Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients’ conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and taking any necessary action.Answer patients’ calls and determine how to assist them.Measure and record patients’ vital signs, such as height, weight, temperature, blood pressure, pulse, or respiration.Effectively communicate with supervisor and employees.Maintain current licensure, including required continuing education within the State of Florida.Attend and successfully complete all required training.Attend all required meetings.Review and follow facility policy and procedures.Must be able to work every other Saturday.
