Two Islands Looking for Sales and Export Manager at Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

We are seeking a talented, dynamic and seasoned part-time Sales & Export Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing and nurturing our domestic and export customer accounts, driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, and building strong relationships with key partners. You will be responsible for overseeing our New Zealand sales channels, with a particular focus on the pharmacy sector, as well as managing existing export customers and new international opportunities.

This role requires a proactive, results-driven individual with a passion for health and wellness. You’ll work closely with our Marketing Manager and Founder to align sales strategies with our brand’s mission, ensuring that Two Islands continues to grow both domestically and internationally.

Preference for the role to be based in our Auckland Central office, but open to remote work for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share in New Zealand and international markets.
• Manage and nurture relationships with all key accounts, ensuring optimal product distribution and promotional planning.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalise on them.
• Oversee and manage all export opportunities, including managing relationships with our Hong Kong distributor, assessing new market opportunities, and coordinating pricing and logistics.
• Work closely with the Marketing Manager and Founder to align sales strategies with product offerings, promotional activities and overall brand positioning.
• Conduct in-person visits to retail partners, build relationships, check store inventory, discuss promotional activities and ensure visual merchandising aligns with brand standards.
• Stay informed about industry developments, competitors and market trends to identify growth opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.

About You:

• Experience: 5+ years of sales management experience in the dietary supplement, FMCG or similar industries, with a proven track record of success.
• Preferred Pharmacy Channel Experience: Ideally, you have managed pharmacy sales channels but we also value experience in the grocery channel.
• Key Account Management: A strong understanding of retail dynamics and key account management experience is essential.
• Relationship Builder: Strong ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with buyers, distributors and retail partners, leveraging existing connections where possible.
• Strategic Thinker: Ability to develop and execute sales strategies, product launches and promotional plans that align with business goals.
• Organised & Proactive: Highly organised with excellent planning, scheduling and follow-up skills. A proactive approach to identifying and seizing growth opportunities.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling sales presentations and reports.
• International Experience: Knowledge of international sales, export management and regulatory understanding of international markets is a plus.
