About the opportunity:

Our client is seeking a Warehouse Assistant Manager to join their team in Lower Hutt. They are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who commits to delivering a high level of customer service.  

Responsibilities will include: 

Working with the Warehouse Manager your day will be busy ensuring orders are accurately processed, handling inwards and outwards goods including containers and general warehouse duties, and occasional deliveries.

This role will suit someone with all or some following background/experience/qualities: 

• You will need a good level of physical fitness – this is a physical job
• Previous experience as a Storeperson 
• Experience picking stock and receipting stock 
• Have a great attitude and work ethic
• 100% compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Good local area/region knowledge
• Full driver’s license/Forklift licence would be ideal
