Human Resources Representative
We are looking to add an HR Representative to our team!. In this role, you will manage human resources responsibilities for your assigned client group and collaborate on divisional/Tyler HR projects. In this position you will build trusting partnerships with the business and offer creative solutions to ensure needs are met. You will help cultivate a culture of excellence and high performance.
The ideal candidate is a well-rounded generalist knowledgeable with employee relations, talent development/engagement, compensation, worker’s compensation, and leaves/ADA, recruitment, and onboarding. This role focuses on developing business partnership and assisting and/or leading with HR projects.
As a part of Tyler’s corporate staff, you will make an impact on outcomes that affect various areas of the company. Your work will ultimately support our team members, clients, stakeholders, and the public sector.

Responsibilities
Build and maintain credible and trusting relationships with team members and leadership.
Consult and offer creative solutions on various levels of employee relation complexity, adhering to HR policy and applicable laws.
Consult on HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all team members.
Conduct employee investigations of varied degrees of complexity.
Responsible for worker’s compensation, unemployment claim handling, AA, ADA/accommodations, and partnering with employees and management to facilitate return to work.
Provide guidance/training to managers on compensation decisions, pay equity, incentive plan development, compensation structure, etc.
Partner with clients on talent development/engagement, strategy, retention, and succession planning.
Create and maintain job descriptions; communicate and evolve career paths as appropriate.
Provide metrics to tell stories through data; data/survey analysis; provide trends, insights, and recommendations.
Participate in onboarding new hires including new hire orientation and related programs.
Responsible for performance management activities such as performance evaluation process, performance improvement process, and employment separations.
Assist with talent strategy/acquisition and retention and planning as needed.
Facilitate/ support learning and development programs and initiatives.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, local employment related laws and company policies and requirements.
Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives to ensure a fair and equitable workplace.
Assist and/or Lead HR projects and initiatives such as branding, best practices, change management opportunities, process improvement, recruitment/HR related systems, internal tools/systems, onboarding, great place to work initiatives, diversity reach, growth strategies, career paths, training/development, etc.
Maintain confidentiality while working with highly sensitive information.
Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in human resources or related field.
PHR or SHRM-CP Certification is a plus.
Solid knowledge and experience of HR policy, programs, strategies, employee relations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, data analysis, talent development.
Solid knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws/regulations related to the human resource function (such as FLSA, FMLA, ADA, AA, EOE, etc.)
Strong customer service, partnering, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Solid knowledge and capabilities to lead HR projects.
Outstanding organization skills including a keen attention to detail and multi-tasking skills including prior experience prioritizing and managing multiple assignments and requests simultaneously with the ability to consistently meet timelines.
