Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. This position may be made permanent without further competition. This position is located at Fort Knox, Kentucky. Responsibilities Assist staff with acquisition document development and IPT management Work with reporting processes and maintains data in the various electronic business systems such as PIEE modules, including WAWF, EDA, VCE/PCS, CPARS, or TOMT. Serve as government Purchase Cardholder and a focal point for purchasing small supplies or equipment in support of Division Operations. Provide support or assistance to the Director through oversight of calendar, review of file documentation, management of administrative functions and other related functions. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications ADMINISTRATIVE CAREERS WITH AMERICA (ACWA) ASSESSMENT: This series is covered under the Administrative Careers With America (ACWA) examining program. A link to the assessment will be sent to all eligible applicants that are required to take the ACWA assessment and you will have 48 hours to complete the assessment. The position is being recruited at the NH-02 level (GS 5-11 equivalent). You must meet the qualification requirements for the position and complete/pass the ACWA assessment. Position may be filled as a temporary promotion or temporary reassignment NTE 5 years by a current permanent Army employee. Temporary promotions or reassignments may be extended up to a maximum of five years, and may be made permanent without further competition. Position may be filled as a term appointment NTE 5 years, if the candidate is not a current permanent Army employee. Term appointments may be extended up to a maximum of six years. This position may be converted to permanent career or career-conditional appointment without further competition as long as all requirements are met. To be eligible for conversion, employee must complete at least 2 years of current continuous service under a term appointment in the competitive service AND employee must have a current performance rating under such term appointment of at least fully successful or equivalent. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. General Experience for NH-02 grade level: In order to qualify at the NH-02 grade level, your resume must describe three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 grade level, which includes: (1) Maintaining electronic data or files in business systems; AND 2) Managing administrative or operational office activities. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-01/GS-04). Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted. Additional Information Direct Deposit of Pay is required. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
