- Ensures the use of Army approved IA products are in accordance with AR 380-53.
- Incumbent shall be responsible for the procurement of all IA products to ensure all Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems adhere to DOD system architecturally standards as well as that all IA products utilized are policy-compliant.
- Monitoring information systems or networks to ensure compliance of security measures.
- Incumbent shall perform regular and reoccurring Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system monitoring to ensure compliance of security measures as well as to confirm system reliability and integrity.
- Identifying the need for updates to security technologies.
- Incumbent shall be knowledgeable of and comply with the most up-to-date security technologies standards and best practices.
- Incumbent shall have a standing inventory of all IA products utilized and develop a systematic replacement plan for all end-of-life IA products.
- Providing recommendations to other technical specialists on IT security issues.
- Incumbent shall work closely with the Project Office and Management Support Branch staff in regard to Supervisory Control.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver?s license.
- Incumbent is required to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance based on a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) This position requires a SECRET security clearance.
- The employee must meet DoDI 5000.66 requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics Workforce position.
- The incumbent will attain and maintain IA certification by pursuing continuing education requirements in the IA field.
