Summary You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the Academic Management Section, School of Infantry West of TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMAND. Responsibilities You will verify that course content accurately reflects the purpose and scope of each course of instruction conducted. You will provide editorial oversight to ensure Program of Instruction (POI) reflects correct grammar, spelling, and syntax, and replicates the approved training standards, where applicable, for each course reviewed. You will review Course Description Data (CDD) for compliance with Training Input Plan (TIP), and ensure documentation and justification for anticipated shortfalls are addressed. You will serve as a consultative expert on the Systems Approach to Training (SAT) process for courseware development to produce both hard copy and electronic versions of the CDD and POI. You will maintain liaison with command contacts such as, Training Administrators, Training Officers, and training section personnel tasked with development of instructional materials. You will advise/develop training materials that conform to existing guidelines and precedents. You will gather and analyze pertinent data, develop findings, and make recommendations that are largely modeled on precedents. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-11 GRADE LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing analysis of instructional systems and programs; designing, developing, and implementing training curriculum and materials; and conducting training evaluations. GS-09 GRADE LEVEL Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing analysis of instructional systems and programs; assisting in designing and developing training curriculum and materials; and aiding in training evaluations.
