To strengthen our Early Research Team, based in our Boston R&D Hub location in Cambridge, MA, we are looking for a talented and motivated individual to fill the position of Research Scientist.

You Will Contribute By:
Developing, troubleshooting, and validating new assays, including translatable cell-based models

Optimizing and delivering of high-content imaging experiments and screens, including image analysis and automation

Your accountability for achieving drug project milestones and delivering on objectives through effective internal and external collaboration across different geographies

Driving scientific excellence and technology developments to maximize both current and future impact on programs and projects

Providing strong scientific thinking, developing hypotheses, and driving scientific learnings on projects

Mandatory Capabilities:
Direct hands-on experience with high-content imaging and screens, from assay development to screening

Direct experience with the design, development, optimization and execution of experiments for target validation, drug discovery screening, as well as evaluating the mechanism of action of novel molecular entities

Experience with the analysis and statistics relevant to in vitro screens

Experience with relevant software tools and automation is a must

Experience in advanced molecular biology and cell culture techniques including cloning and culturing a wide variety of human cell lines

Excellent communicator with good presentation and organizational skills

Independent scientist who can drive things with minimal supervision but also thrive in a multidisciplinary team environment

Preferred Experience:
Experience with small molecules/ligands/therapeutics is preferred

Experience with gene editing and molecular biology is strongly preferred

Preference for candidates with direct industry experience

Educational Requirements:
Ph.D. with 3 to 5 years of applicable research experience with an excellent scientific track record
