UCLA Health Hiring for Administrative Analyst at Los Angeles, CA Full Time

The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human behavior is seeking to hire full-time Administrative Analyst to join the Department of Psychiatry. You will provide administrative support to HR, general administrative services and the Chief Academic Administration Officer (CAAO). Primary duties include:

Front desk coverage

Processing all employment related transactions

Providing policy interpretation

Reviewing and analyzing inquiries

Collaborating with HR Manager and HR/Payroll Services in developing systems and procedures

Other administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications

Experience working within a university system related to policies and procedures, particularly personnel (highly preferred)

Basic understanding of University Compensation Program, rules and regulations (preferred)

Working knowledge of data entry and maintenance using on-line computer system

Computer expertise to include word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and database applications, sufficient to produce reports and correspondence, and to oversee web-site maintenance

Skill in transferring information from source documents onto forms including the ability to copy and type numbers accurately

Demonstrated ability to work independently and follow-through on assignments with minimal direction

Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information

Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities/deadlines

Ability to write clearly and effectively

Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members, faculty, students, and administrators
