UCLA Health Hiring for Program Coordinator (Remote) at Los Angeles, CA Full Time
Responsibilities
The Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior is seeking to hire a full-time Program Coordinator to join the UCLA TIES (Training, Intervention, Education, and Services) for Families. UCLA TIES for Families is an interdisciplinary program in LA County dedicated to optimizing the growth and development of foster/adoptive children from birth to age 25 and their families. You will provide a wide variety of administrative support and coordination to the management team at Antelope Valley-UCLA Public Partnership program. Primary duties include:
- Answering phones and assisting with family intakes
- Managing client files and paperwork, including data collection and research materials
- Monitoring the collection and tracking of paperwork and deliverables
- Coordinating training sessions and special events
- Assisting with e-health records system and quality assurance/improvement of the DMH project
- Assisting with the preparation of reports and report writing related to various contracts and grants
- Oversee daily office functions
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Familiarity with University, federal, state, private, and non-profit funding agencies ‘guidelines and policies relevant to DMH contractual policy, compliance, cost allocation, and reimbursement (preferred)
Knowledge of billing requirements and mental health coding rules pertinent to billing, compliance, and privacy to oversee billing submission to Medi-cal and private health insurance companies (preferred)
Ability to maintain databases and utilize various communication tools, including running data analyses and creating data visuals
Working knowledge of the ICD-9-CM coding (DSM-IV), CPT codes, Mode & Service Function Codes, & Interchange Acknowledgement Error codes (preferred)
Skill in working as part of a team and collaborating with management, staff and supervisees to insure smooth office operations and implementation of procedures and policies.
Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with professionals, administrative staff, clients and representatives of community agencies.
Skill in establishing priorities that accurately reflect relative importance of job duties.
Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and complicated issues successfully by maintaining control of the process and following through on the relevant details.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential material with discretion
Working knowledge of the Electronic Data Interchange Production Claim cycle & Medi-Cal Claim Validation process to ensure accurate and timely billing (preferred)
Extensive knowledge and ability to navigate local and state agencies including LA County DMH, LA County DCFS, Southern California Regional Centers, University Compliance Office, University Legal (preferred)
Demonstrated experience with various University systems including BruinBuy, Travel Express, submitting FSRs, TSRs, University time reporting, IT requests (preferred)
