Who are we looking for?
The UKAEA have a great Public and Education Outreach Officer vacancy available on a permanent basis. Increasing public interest in science and in UKAEA’s work is vital, in particular to encourage young people to pursue interests and careers in STEM, and into fusion energy.
As the Public and Education Outreach Officer you will be involved with a variety of engaging projects. The role is very appealing to someone who is curious about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM), and this position allows for an exciting breadth scope to explore different ways to engage with young and public audiences.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and knowledgeable individual with a background in science, communication or education. You will be working closely with the UKAEA Communications Group and will have a keen interest in STEM outreach and experience of delivering engaging activities for students and the general public.
