About Ukko Agro:
Ukko is a venture capital and industry-leaders backed applied research company that has created a field adaptive, predictive analytics platform. Our platform aggregates disconnected data from commercial farms to generate actionable advice on the application of crop inputs (pesticide, water, and nutrients), up to a week in advance.
The result is higher on-farm profitability through lower costs and more accurate application, leading to higher yields. It is delivered through a combination of in-field IoT sensors, advanced agriculture research, and data science-based predictive analytics. With this, we aim to solve one of the toughest challenges – helping farmers grow profitably in a sustainable way.
Our team is comprised of agriculture research scientists, technology professionals, and agriculture economics specialists. Our solution has enabled farmers to reduce pesticide usage by an average of 25%, without any yield losses, and apply sustainable agriculture practices across Canada and the United States. Your role:
Ukko Agro currently sells in Canada and the US through retailers, crop-input companies and directly to farmers. We are experiencing exceptional market traction with this multi-channel strategy.
This is where you come in.
As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the sales team to help them generate exponential growth through existing channels. You will also be responsible for bringing in new key accounts such as retailers, crop-input companies, larger farmers, financial institutions and more.
This role will be a part of the leadership team at Ukko and will report to the CEO.
