The Ultimate Care Group is a privately owned Specialist Residential Aged Care Services Provider. We offer rest home, hospital, and dementia care to the elderly in 19 residential facilities throughout New Zealand.

Tucked away in the coastal community of Waipu, Northland, is Ultimate Care Ranburn with a homely feel, our units are sunny and bright. Only 40 minutes from Whangarei, we offer a rural lifestyle whilst still being close to the town center.

The staff we employ are professional, dedicated, motivated and passionate about caring for the elderlly.

Job tasks and responsibilities

• Providing and maintaining safe environment for residents
• Individualised quality care to the residents and assist them to achieve the optimum level of well-being
• Assist in the provision of a high level of care meeting the standards
• Demonstrate customer service and attention to detail
• Ensure all equipment is used in accordance with relevant guidelines
• Ensure daily work schedule is completed
• Communicate with other team members effectively
• Perform additional necessary duties as directed

Skills and experience

• 1-2 years previous experience as a caregiver, preferable in rest home care, hospital level care, dementia Care
• Proven team member experience
• Proven verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to prioritise and organise effectively
• Previous experience in the Aged Care industry preferred
