Kitchen-hand – Ultimate Care Rosedale
Working for the Ultimate Care Group is more than just a job; we ensure that we always put our Residents first.
As an important and integral part of our team, you will be assisting in the kitchen. We need a dedicated, reliable person who has a passion for working with the elderly and great food. You must be willing to commit to a minimum of 15 hours per week – midweek and/ or weekend shifts 5am to 2pm.
We are seeking applicants with the following skills:
- Experience in the preparation of food and meals to a high standard
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a fast paced environment
- Cleaning up food preparation areas
- Handling food deliveries
- Knowledge of food safety standards (167/168) – We offer training
- Reporting to and assisting the Cook in all kitchen-related tasks
In order to succeed in this role, you will possess a
can-do attitude, a savvy knowledge of food-prep and food safety, a caring nature, excellent communication and listening skills, embracing your role as a key team player in the kitchen.
