The software engineer, as part of the development team, will be responsible for developing embedded software signal processing and HMI products for EW systems.

Specific duties include:

• Technical planning;
• Software requirements analysis and functional design;
• Software detailed design, coding and unit testing;
• Unit and overall System software integration;
• System verification and validation activities;
• Development of product documentation including design documentation; and
• Participate in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) activities to maintain a safe and clean work environment

Experience/Knowledge:

• Experience with embedded software development environments and operating systems;
• Object Orientated analysis and design experience;
• Competency in C, C++,Java;
• OpenCL/CUDA development experience highly desirable;
• Competency in use of Matlab simulation highly desirable;
• Effective software configuration management practices; and
• Familiarity with SDLC software development methodologies

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in an applicable discipline (eg. Systems, Software, Electronics, Computer Science or IT); and
• At least 3 years’ experience in software design involving embedded systems
