Ungerboeck is seeking a proven Cloud Systems Engineer that is motivated by driving innovation, improving team productivity, always thinking outside the box, and overall getting things done. As a member of the Global Cloud Operations team, you will assist in the design and operational support of the Ungerboeck Cloud global infrastructure. This role is responsible for the operations, maintenance, performance, and monitoring of systems and business applications powering Ungerboeck clients around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the APAC IT team
• Manage team work loads and mentoring team members
• Support and monitor Ungerboeck Cloud services across all APAC regions utilizing Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Deploy and maintain EC2 instances in a VPC running Windows and Linux
• Support IT Operations and Maintenance – Systems/Application Monitoring, Anti-virus/Anti-malware, OS/Application Updates, backup technologies
• Support/maintain business critical services for our global customer base
• Assist in developing best practice server standards and configurations
• Create and maintain technical and detailed design documentation
• Participate in project planning and execution
• Participate in the on-call rotation

• 1-3 years experience with Modern Applications within AWS – Serverless, Microservices, Containers, etc.
• 3 years experience with various Microsoft technologies: Windows Server (AD, DNS, DFS), SQL Server (HA/Replication), IIS
• Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking, VPN, IP addressing, and routing
• Experience with PowerShell/scripting
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and organize priorities/deadlines
• Industry relevant certifications a plus (CompTIA, AWS, Microsoft)
