Mexico is a country of origin, transit, and destination for migrant children from the countries of northern Central America, seeking safety and opportunity in Mexico or the United States. These are children fleeing from violence, poverty, and limited access to education and social services.
UNICEF is supporting state and local authorities in supporting children’s right to quality education.

Responsibilities
If you are selected as an Education Officer in Chihuahua, you will be connected to our team in Ciudad Juarez and remotely report to the Chief of Field Office who is based in Ciudad Juarez. You will be coordinating your technical work with the Chief of Education (Mexico City) for planning and implementation of the education programme in the state, as well as programmatic guidance. Also, you will be required to carry out frequent missions throughout the state of Chihuahua. Your main responsibilities will be:
