The Dining Service Worker performs general kitchen, cash handling, and customer service duties including:
Setting up all Dining Service lines, including but not limited to, the deli, salad bar and soup stations
Washing and peeling vegetables
Slicing deli meat on automatic slicer
Serving customers
Replenishing service lines when needed
Breaking down and storing all foods after line closes for meal periods
Cleaning and sanitizing equipment
Performing all cash handling procedures per college policy
Swiping student meal cards
Helping clear, clean, and properly equip tables
Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping dining halls
Operating the dish machine
Removing trash and placing it in designated containers
Washing pots, pans, and cooking utensils
Performing other duties as directed
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions. Candidates should be safety conscious and be able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
