The Dining Service Worker performs general kitchen, cash handling, and customer service duties including:

• Setting up all Dining Service lines, including but not limited to, the deli, salad bar and soup stations

• Washing and peeling vegetables

• Slicing deli meat on automatic slicer

• Serving customers

• Replenishing service lines when needed

• Breaking down and storing all foods after line closes for meal periods

• Cleaning and sanitizing equipment

• Performing all cash handling procedures per college policy

• Swiping student meal cards

• Helping clear, clean, and properly equip tables

• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping dining halls

• Operating the dish machine

• Removing trash and placing it in designated containers

• Washing pots, pans, and cooking utensils

• Performing other duties as directed

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be able to read, write and understand written and verbal instructions. Candidates should be safety conscious and be able to work with a diverse group of individuals.
