Te āheinga: The opportunity

As our Lecturer of Architecture, you’ll join a team of experienced Architecture educators who are committed to excellence in teaching and learning and student success. We are currently recruiting for permanent full-time or part-time positions within the School of Architecture.

You’ll provide exceptional technical teaching within key areas in Architecture and be an active contributor to the development and delivery of our many programs in the Architecture discipline.

He kōrero mōu: About you

You’ll have an architectural design background along with strong New Zealand construction knowledge plus:

• An understanding or desire to learn Te Reo Māori, Tikanga Māori, and the values and practices of Kaupapa Māori
• Evidence of active engagement in building diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplaces/environments
• A strong Architecture design background
• Ability to contribute across the program in areas including; technology, history and theory, and/or professional practice.Strong professional/industry experience/connection
• Demonstrate your commitment to academic quality, and the provision of high-quality educational experiences for students
• Qualification to at least Masters level and ideally a growing research portfolio
