United Service Technologies is hiring. We are an industry leader apart of a service network that has more than 450 Field Service Technicians and we service thousands of locations throughout the U.S.

Position Title: Service Dispatcher

Department: Dispatch Department

Responsible to: Service Manager & Dispatch Manager

Description:

The Service Dispatcher is the primary contact for customers. In addition to providing excellent customer service, the Dispatcher coordinates the scheduling of all service and maintenance calls with technicians and account managers to maximize efficiency. Provide accounting with maintenance contract billing information.

Responsibilities:

• Accept incoming customer calls

• Schedule and coordinate service calls as calls are received

• Create work orders for all service calls

• Dispatch service technicians as service calls are requested

• Keep customers appraised as to technician schedule and requested lead-times

• Contact customers with a “parts pending” status for back-ordered parts

• Maintain technicians’ daily schedule and the dispatch board

• Maintain the on-call schedule

• Order parts for special service calls

• Receive parts

• Update work orders with packing slip information

• Review technician start times for accuracy

• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

• Participate in all training sessions/meetings

• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations

• Perform other duties as assigned by management Requirements

• Advanced customer service skills

• Typing proficiency, a preferred level of at least 40 wpm, 100% accuracy Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

• Excellent telephone etiquette

• Strong computer skills, experience with Microsoft Office products and Google products

• Highly self-motivated and directed, organized

• Ability to adapt to changes and absorb new ideas and concepts quickly

• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively prioritize, multitask and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
