This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday to Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 07:30am – 04:00pm PST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional weekends and overtime. Our office is located at 2300 MAIN ST, IRVINE, 92614.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide expertise or general claims support by reviewing, researching, investigating, negotiating, processing and adjusting claims
• Analyze and identify trends and provide reports as necessary
• Consistently meet established productivity, schedule adherence, and quality standards

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
• 1+ years of experience in either a healthcare or pharmacy environment (retail or PBM)
• Computer experience using Windows applications and other business systems
• Ability to work from 7:30am – 4:00pm PST, Monday through Friday with overtime, weekends and holidays as needed

Telecommuting Requirements:

• Reside within the Pacific Timezone
• Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
• Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
• Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in medical claims or pharmacy claims processing
• 1+ years of Pharmacy Technician experience
• 1+ years of Medicare knowledge

Soft Skills:

• Ability to multi – task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product

Physical and Work Environment:

• Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse
• Office environment
