Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, modify and/or test software applications for the healthcare industry
• Design, build, and deploy performant and scalable solutions by applying algorithms, data structures, and development best practices
• Work on data processing platforms, create complex data processing pipelines for data ingestion and data management
• Contribute to code review process
• Clarify requirements and implement solutions that encompass analysis
• Ensure high quality solutions by design and build unit tests, integration test, load test, and user acceptance tests
• Actively participate in all phases of project development life cycle including engineering ETL, CI/CD, data access policies, procedures, standards and supporting documentation, code design, development, benchmarking, performance/tuning, capacity planning, and production implementation
• Maximising system availability, ensuring swift and complete database recovery, optimising big data cluster and database and availability through ongoing maintenance, and ensure conformance to audit and operating standards

Required Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• Cloud experience (preferred Azure)

  Demonstrable Java development experience

• Strong experience using Kubernetes or Docker

• Ability to work a portion of monthly work hours from our Dublin or Letterkenny office is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• History using Terraform or CI/CD
• Experience with Jenkins
