The company

Black Bridge Nurseries can be found nestled in across 20 acres of beautiful greenery, surrounded by quaint farmlands not far from the Manukau City Centre. The team at Black Bridge has been operating a successful family owned business for over 50 years, specialising in container grown large trees.

They service the landscape industry, commercial and retail customers throughout New Zealand, and with over 500 tree varieties spread across two Auckland sites, they are New Zealand’s original and largest specimen tree nursery.

The Role

With a passion for horticulture, customer service at the forefront with a natural ability to adapt and relate, you will bring your energy and people skills to this iconic Kiwi Company.

We’re looking for someone who loves solving problems, can provide an insight across the extensive product range, assist with product suggestions, and bring the customers exciting outdoor projects to life!

This role includes the following responsibilities:

• Being the first point of contact for customers either in person, via phone or email
• Providing knowledge, assistance, and solutions regarding the which type of trees will suit each individual enquiry
• Creating customer quotes, providing photos and checking stock availability
• Follow-up with customers when and where required
• Keeping an accurate record of all customer sales and additional admin tasks

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, someone who thrives on providing customers with a first-rate experience
• Outstanding attention to detail with strong organisation skill set
• The ability to handle conflicting priorities and remain calm and composed
• Someone with a great attitude – happy to do what is needed to support the wider team
• Proficient Microsoft Suite computer skills
