Universal Granite & Marbles Looking for Inventory & Imports Operator at Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

We are a wholesaler of Granite & Marble, engineered stones and porcelain. We import beautiful stones from all over the world. We are growing and seeking an Inventory & Imports Operator to join our Auckland-based operations team.

Responsibilities

• Track and maintain stock levels and inventory
• Performing clerical work and interoffice support including receiving and processing email queries & issues  
• Entering new stock into the inventory – involves measuring the stock when unloading, QC/inspect new stock and keep a record, taking quality photos to upload onto the website  
• Entering and updating product & pricing on the inventory  
• Putting slabs on hold/removing holds on the backend inventory system for customers or Account Managers  
• Collect, sort & check invoices/packing slips  
• Database/inventory maintenance including keeping record of stock transfers  
• Generate stock report/holding reports. Emailing customers weekly stock update.
• Creating labels for stocks and ensuring materials are labelled for all warehouses  
• Ensuring all documents from supplier are compiled and emailed to customs agent for clearance.
• Work closely with supplier regarding stock, quotes and photos.
• Work closely with customs agent for container clearance. Ensuring containers are cleared in a timely manner.
