Universal Pharmaceuticals Limited Hiring for Machine Operator Job at New Zealand Full Time

Universal Pharmaceuticals Ltd is a one-stop OEM service for pharmaceutical and healthcare products. The products are supplied to major pharmacies and duty-free stores within New Zealand and are exported to more than 30 countries globally. With the expansion of our production lines and factory, we need twenty experienced Machine operators to join our busy team in Auckland.

Day-to-day work may include, but not be limited to:

• Starting machines and monitoring operations to detect faults and ensure the effectiveness of operation, including machine setup, changeovers, troubleshooting, and cleaning
• Set controls, adjust controls, and complete production works
• Observe and perform quality checks on finished products
• Work collaboratively with factory team members, effective communication with the Production Supervisor and Manager
• Delivering first-line responses in breakdowns
• Maintain and lubricate machines
• Investigating and addressing ongoing equipment performance issues
• Actively seeks line improvement
• Focus on producing high-quality products with minimal waste
• Ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are met

The successful candidate should ideally have:

• At least one year of experience as a Machine Operator
• A great attitude and work with our team to achieve our KPI targets
• Pay attention to details and time requirements, in all aspects of daily work
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a professional team
• Problem-solving abilities
• Great people skills both with fellow workmates
• A good level of physical fitness
• Accept flexible working hours
• Honest, trustworthy & well presented
• Comply with our health and safety policy
• Be drug and alcohol-free
