Universal Truck & Trailer Looking for Shipper/Receiver at Saint John, NB Full Time

Universal Truck and Trailer is Atlantic Canada’s largest heavy duty truck and trailer dealership featuring the most up-to-date dealer service bays in Southern New Brunswick. We are an authorized sales, service, parts and warranty dealership for premium products Freightliner, Western Star, Fuso, and Great Dane trucks and trailers. In addition, we service most makes and models for class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles, including luxury class RV’s. We focus on exceeding customer requirements through continuously developing our team and building technical capabilities.

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Shipper/Receiver.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide superior service to internal and external customers

Source and track stock and special order items

Receive, move and arrange materials in shipping/receiving areas

Check shipped materials for damage and process defective product

Preparing packages for delivery

Filling out shipping labels

Requirements:
H igh School or Trade Certification education required

Forklift license considered an asset

2 or less years of shipping/receiving experience

Possess excellent customer service skills

High attention to detail

Computer skills

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be available to work evenings and weekends, as required
