Title: Campus Safety Specialist

Location: Facilities/Code Administration

Salary: $47,530

Grade: PEF SG-12

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM (pass days: Saturday/Sunday)

Duration: Permanent

Job Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates must have a reachable score on the Campus Safety Specialist list OR;

• Have a current permanent appointment with 1 year of service as a Campus Safety Specialist OR in a title eligible for transfer to Campus Safety Specialist OR;

• Be a former state employee eligible for reinstatement to the title of Campus Safety Specialist

OPERATING NEEDS:

Candidate must complete the NICET Level I: Inspection and Testing of Fire Alarm Systems Certificate within the first 12 months of employment (probationary period) and maintain certification as a condition of continued employment. Valid NYS Driver’s License required.
