The Student Success Office leads on the development and implementation of UCL’s strategies to support academic success and close attainment and awarding gaps across UCL. The team works in conjunction with UCL Arena, EDI, the Academic Communications Centre, Student Support and Wellbeing and faculties and departments, developing best practice and evidence-based approaches. The Student Success Office delivers online resources, workshops and a drop-in service for students. It leads on developing institution-wide approaches and change to close awarding gaps, with a particular focus on those groups where there is an unexplained gap. The office works closely with the Data and Impact team (part of the wider Social Mobility and Student Success area) to provide evidence of impact and to identify current trends and research that will inform the development of activity.
