Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The Faculty of Engineering is seeking two proactive, service-oriented and well-organised Faculty Assistant/Receptionists. One will be based in the Auckland City Campus and one in the Newmarket campus. As part of the Faculty’s Facilities and Services Team, and reporting to the Facilities and Services Team Leader, this role plays a crucial part in the smooth running of the facility. You will also support your colleague working on the other campus on occasion, and have opportunities to support the wider team on one-off projects and during peak workload periods.
As the first port of call for visitors, students, staff, couriers and guests, you play a key role in building a welcoming atmosphere for the Faculty, helping people get where they need to go, connect with the people they may need to connect with, or remedy the issue they may have.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves the highly customer focused environment of a reception role, and who may be interested in gaining exposure to facilities for a potential future career path.
This is a fixed-term, full-time position.
For more detailed information, please refer to the position description.
